Parents:

Mum was Pearl Marson. She was born June 1st, 1947 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She had 1 sister, Sharon, and 2 brothers, Wayne and Leighton. She sadly passed away January 14th, 1994 from a long battle with breast cancer. She was only 46.

Dad is Colin Marson. He was born September 23rd, 1946 in Rotherham, England. He'll be 58 this September. He has 2 surviving sisters, Dorothy and Barbara.

My wicked step-mother (just kidding hahaha) is Carol. She was born on February 9th. She and Dad got married on May 8th, 2004, after 10 years of "dating".

Siblings:

None as anyone who knows me can tell you. I'm still a spoiled child at heart. ;-)

Husband:

Simon Biickert. He was born on May 17th, 1973 in Victoria, BC. I met him at the UVic in September, 1992. We were both taking Russian 100 as an elective. He has a BSc. from UVic and an MSc. from UNBC. Currently he's a software application developer at Inform. A job totally unrelated to his education. :-)

The Wedding:

We were married on August 27th, 1997. It was an impromtu wedding, 3 days of prep. We were down for a visit and Simon suggested we get married while we were in town and all the family was there. Of course my dress, the ring, everything was back in Prince George, where we were living, so we had to go get some suitable clothes and a gold band for me. We had the ceremony and reception in Simon's Aunt's house with about 25 guests. The cake and food was from Thrifty Foods, where Simon once worked as a student.

Children:

One - Miranda Lynne Marson Biickert. She was born January 1st, 2004 in Victoria BC at VGH. She weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces.
